Turner Communications was formed by Aprill O. Turner, a public relations professional and political strategist, with a wealth of experience working with non-profit and corporate clients in the areas of political and communication strategy, message development, media training, crisis communications, branding, thought leadership, development and public affairs.

Turner brings more than 15 years of experience in politics and campaigns; as well as the public and private sectors where she has worked on environmental and health initiatives and lead corporate branding and business development projects for some of America’s leading companies. She has been featured on MSNBC, CNN, and a number of other news outlets across the country.

Turner's capacities include developing and implementing strategic communications plans, conducting media training programs and executing media campaigns. In her role as Senior Account Executive at CooperKatz Public Relations in New York City, she provided public relations guidance for consumer, non-profit, and corporate accounts, such as: the development of communications strategies for clients; corporate communications support; the development of marketing strategies for program and product launches; and obtaining earned media placement to drive client needs.
